Justin De Caire

58lbs in 8 months seems crazy but it is attainable!... now that I have your attention, a little background first. I have been overweight ever since I was a kid and was pretty sick of always being the "fat guy." Last summer in August I had hit 250lbs, at 5’10” that is not where anyone wants to be.
I had started going to the gym last September, but I was wasting my time with improper form, terrible nutrition and inconsistent training schedules. After going to Herc's and speaking to some of the guys I decided to try a different approach. I tapered down my carbs (I would highly recommend gradually tapering down by about 15-20% each week. try to avoid extremes if you can) and within a couple weeks I had dropped about 15lbs…keep in mind there is a lot of water loss in this period. I was consuming complex carbs, increased my protein intake and started eating more healthy fats.
I learned a lot from following IFBB pro Ben Pakulski and WBFF pro Vince Del Monte. From there I experimented to find out what worked for me. I can tell anyone exactly what I did but realistically it will not be the same for you, everyone is different and you need to try things out and see how your body reacts (no one likes to hear that but it’s the only way to get results). Educating about nutrition and proper supplementation was probably the most important thing that attributed to my transformation in terms of fat loss. If you are dieting and working out blindly, I hate to bear the bad news but you are setting yourself up for failure. By September this year I was 180lbs (70lbs since last August) and I am currently working on gaining lean mass and am at 177lbs. That is 58lbs since January and 73lbs since last August.

Supplementation played, and continues to play a huge part in my training success. Absolute staples for me are a good protein isolate (Isoflex, Dymatize Elite, ON 100% gold standard), glutamine, a solid high dose multi-vitamin (I prefer Vita-Stack or Orange Triad) and high quality fish oils.

Supplements that I have added that have made a huge difference in my recent training to put on size are pre-workout (Allmax MusclePrime Core Factor being my absolute favourite), creatine monohydrate, quality BCAA’s (Allmax Aminocore) and recently I have added Vitargo.

When dropping all the weight I also introduced a thermogenic fat burner. I would highly recommend introducing a thermogenic after about a month of dieting to accelerate your results.

Pictures: the first is my jolly beer drinking self, the second is a current picture, and the third is myself with WBFF pro Vince Del Monte. I was fortunate enough to become a part of Ben and Vinces new program Hypertrophy M.A.X. as part of the filming (I was demonstrated the workouts on film for the members of the program).

Herc's Profile: Joe Del Gobbo

I'm Joe Del Gobbo, I'm a national level bodybuilder.  I've been training for around 20 years and have trained with some good canadian pros over the years. I've known Dave from hercs for close to 20 years also from the time he opened his first store.  He has always been supportive to my bodybuilding quest.  I presently see Dave monthly for my favorite supplements.  One of which is vitargo.   Alot of you may not know but it may be one of the best supplements out on the market today.  If you are looking to replenish glycogen stores after a workout and also want the benefit of its ability to shuttle aminos into the muscle as well as creatine, nothing is better.  The effect is fairly immediate.  within a couple days you will be fuller and feel better during workouts.  I use it before and after workouts most days as it keeps muscles very full and allows for incredible pumps during training.

Because of my experience in bodybuilding and being lucky enough to have been helped by some very good pros I have gained alot of knowledge in the field with most will never possess.  If your goals are to compete or to gain muscle size and definition I can cut get u there in almost half the time.  At 5'9" I hold over 250lbs of very lean muscle all year round.  My knowledge in training, supplements, and nutrition to gain solid muscle size is by far the most in the niagara region.  If you wish to contact me for help with your goals you can find me on facebook or contact me through Dave.  Stop wasting time reading forums and doing things that gym rats tell you!  learn from someone who knows what pros actually do!

If You are interested in maximizing results and using Vitargo, it is available in store or On-Line, AVAILABLE IN 3 DIFFERENT SIZES AND FLAVORS
